We were given the opportunity to take Louie a dog that Carter's had as a second dog and a companion for our Golden. I have always been Leary of rescued dogs. Well Louie has become one of the family. He loves us and we love him so very much!.. Thank you Carters. Donation is on it's way.

I am very fortunate to know Wendy McHugh. When I found out she had became a part of this journey I asked her to keep my family in mind. My family and I are so fortunate now to have a new fur baby in our family. She really listened to what we were looking for but more importantly what Mya needed. Mya's best interests were most important. From the many conversations I had with Wendy prior to her adoption I knew that she spend a lot of time talking to her previous family in order to get to know her. My family will be forever grateful to Carter's Rescue and especially Wendy for all that that did for us and continue to do for other dogs. Thank you.

We recently had to re-home our dog for various reasons and it was a difficult decision for us. We wanted him to get a great home and we worried we would be judged for giving him away. Carter's Rescue and the people who work there were excellent. Our dog got a new home, perfectly suited to him and his needs, within days. Everyone was really understanding and it was an easy and comfortable process. You can tell that Carter's really loves dogs and wants the best for them. I'd definitely recommend them to others.
